Services for Children
Individual Psychotherapy is offered to help children cope with a variety of life challenges and mental health concerns including Depression; Anxiety; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder; Oppositional Defiant Disorder; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADD; Behavioural problems; Emotion regulation; Fears; Social Skills; Separation anxiety; Post Traumatic Stress; Learning Disabilities; psychosomatic complaints; Self-esteem; Distorted thinking; School problems; Aggression and Anger; Relationships; developmental delays; and Safe technology skills.
Most children under the age of 5 will be treated through parenting support and coaching and individual sessions in which the parent is present.
Parent Coaching and Support is available to parents needing help with child behavior management; positive discipline; Sleep strategies; Homework challenges; ADHD/ADD; Time management; Talking to children about death; Managing technology in your home; Sibling rivalry; New parenting; Managing children?s fears; Literacy promotion; Divorce; Parenting teens; School issues; and Developmental Concerns.
Combining both Individual and Family Services for children can focus on the following issues:

Parent Coaching and Support Services involve sessions with the parents only in order to help them to work with their child.
